It's called "Thuggin' It and Lovin' It", and it saddens me at the dilapidation that still haunts dozens of neighborhoods around Baton Rouge and South Louisiana.<br /><br />The new claim is that it's staged, and it has actors. That claim isn't helped by the fact that the video does not credit its actors and that almost all of the local residents interviewed claimed it was either real or really accurate. Either way, it's not cool.<br /><br />The film, "Millionaire Entertainment" claims, is to promote some rappers and a record label. It doesn't try to wow us. It tells a simple, charming story, and it tells it convicingly.<br /><br />It may have been the most faithful portrait of the perfectionist chef with the furious muse, and it's a CGI rat.<br /><br />One thing I like about Pixar is that it usually doesn't grab huge names to voice its actors like Dreamworks does. When you watch one of those films, you're not listening to the character. You're listening to Jack Black, or Angelina Jolie, or Eddie Murphy or Justin Timberlake.<br /><br />Ratatouille doesn't have big-name voices because the character is more important, and it's the character they want to sell, not the actor.<br /><br />It's a cute film. I was very impressed with the physical comedy (Linguine's clumsiness never gets old because they don't draw it out too much.) Pixar's attention to detail is outstanding. They did their homework, consulting with chefs everywhere to make all the details correct.<br /><br />This is an excellent film. Go see it. I wrote it while I was at LSU, and I recorded the guitar and programmed the strings down there. When I got back to Peachtree City, I added real drums, bass and vocals to it. The result was a nice little song dedicated to those crunchy green acorns that are fun to step on in the autumn months in Baton Rouge.<br /><br />I added a lot of alliteration, and I made some fun rhymes. My favorite part was rhyming "Cheeto" with "incognito". That's a cool rhyme.<br /><br />I also think I did a good job with the string arrangement. It's the first time I really tried. I used what I learned from my Theory courses.<br /><br />The chord progression is a lot older. The chord progression is the same from "Lay Back Down", which is from the mini-EP-thing Shamelessly Delightful Acoustic Demos. And now they want me to clean it up. And that means my fabulous bird-flipping photo? I'll try to censor it out, but I won't like it.<br /><br />This is no fun. I mean, I loved speaking my mind here. And sometimes, you need profanity or the point just comes out... flat. Like there's no emotion. And I want my readers to understand where I'm coming from.<br /><br />Everytime I read blogs without profanity, it bothers me because I can tell they're restraining themselves, and sometimes it just doesn't feel right. Like this one girl I know who is just so nice to everyone, and everytime a naughty word reaches her lips, she immediately thinks of something else. I'm always suspicious. I KNOW she has a dark side, and I want to see it.<br /><br />I understand the need to keep a clean face for any potential employers who might give a damn if I say, well, damn. But still. Now I feel like I'm lying to you. You know me. I cuss. I talk about whatever. And I love that picture of me flipping the bird. And I want to do and express those things in my blog because it's who I am. And I don't think I'm a completely unpleasant person. I don't really mean anybody any harm. The Atlanta offense was exciting not just because Vick would sometimes make a jaw-dropping play, but because there was an equal chance Vick would royally fuck up in an explosive way. Excitement coupled with nervousness.<br /><br />So what if Matt Ryan is boring. Since when did the most exciting team win the Super Bowl? I'm usually a Full Throttle man, and I think I'll stick to that from now on because if I close my eyes when drinking a Full Throttle, I can pretend I'm drinking an Orangina. Monsters have no soft-drink counterpart because they are just NASTY.<br /><br />The main problem I have with all-nighters is the feeling I have after too long. I'm woozy and exhausted. My legs hurt and my mind is awake on a caffeine buzz, and that creates confusion. Sometimes I even start feeling a little paranoid, and whenever I get paranoid, my greatest irrational fear haunts me- that I have a case of the hiccups that never goes away. No, I'm serious. It's a stupid fear, I know, but damn that would really suck. And it's really happened. I'd make links, but you're going to have to search yourself because that shit scares the fuck out of me. We get it. He threw 16 INT's last year. I hear people saying that they hope Lee fails out there, and I've even heard people say they would boo if Lee made a <span style="font-style:italic;">GOOD</span> play. The more they say it, the more I think he will actually succeed. I'm a contrarian, you see.<br /><br />It always happens that way. Last year, everybody was talking about how Matt Ryan would be a huge bust for the Falcons. The more they dissed him, the more I believed he would actually succeed, and guess what? He did.<br /><br />Nothing in football is predictable. I also think Florida will not be as good as advertised this year. Gone unnoticed is the fact that their offensive coordinator/ genius QB coach Dan Mullen is gone, and Urban Meyer replaced him with, um, the offensive line coach. Everyone's saying "oh but Florida has too much talent", and that's exactly what people said about LSU's defense last year when we hired from within.<br /><br />Anyways, back to the spring game. I'm not cheering particularly hard for Lee. Or for Jordan Jefferson. I will instead keep my eye on Russell Shepard, the kid I think will surprise everybody and snatch the starting job. This kid is like a freakish combo of Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin. He's lightning fast. I found out Larry Bird was a successful coach for the Pacers for three seasons from 1998 to 2000. He even led his team to the finals. Why didn't he stay coaching? Will he return to coaching? I explored some of my old artist names. I'm thinking about returning to "Supreme World Emperor" so I claimed the artist name on Last.fm.<br /><br />I have an Astronomy test tomorrow, and I need to read Paradise Lost. Today I drank black, unsugared coffee and woodshedded on guitar for two hours.
