so which team will be stupid enough to grab Michael Vick?

I don't see why anybody cares about him. This guy was a royal asshole in Atlanta. He flipped off fans. No seriously.

Who flips off a fan of their own team? I don't recall Donovan McNabb fans ever flipping off Eagles fans who boo him whether he plays well or not.

I think dogfighting is a disgusting crime, but I do believe Vick's punishment was fitting. That being said, Michael Vick isn't really that good. He's never been a great passer. The Atlanta offense was exciting not just because Vick would sometimes make a jaw-dropping play, but because there was an equal chance Vick would royally fuck up in an explosive way. Excitement coupled with nervousness.

So what if Matt Ryan is boring. Since when did the most exciting team win the Super Bowl? Not since the Kurt Warner-led Rams in 1999.

It's about team chemistry. Look at the Steelers. Chemistry. Michael Vick is a bane to team chemistry because it's all about him. What a dick. I'm laughing at whichever team, if any, takes this stupid loser.

Random All-Nighter-induced Rant: Tyler Perry is a fucking hack

Tyler Perry is a fellow Atlanta native who has written, produced and directed a plethora of TV shows and movies. He's a self-made man who is very hard-working.

But he sucks.

I watched an episode of House of Payne recently, and I couldn't believe that I was watching the show that was breaking all sorts of records. The jokes are all incredibly stale, the characters are paper-thin and there's cliches everywhere. The Paynes even have a stereotype Hispanic for a neighbor. He's even made another show called Meet The Browns and it's EXACTLY THE SAME. Same fat middle-aged male lead, same fat jokes, more money for Perry to generate more crap. He's the TV equivalent of a Casio keyboard on autoplay. If it really is as popular as they say, I feel ashamed for America.

Can we please stop giving this asswipe our money and adoration?

Thank you.

I demand new Perfect Hair Forever NOW!

I wish I could embed. Here's a link. A rather cute advertisement for Coca-cola runs prior to it.

I don't even watch anime. This shit is hilarious. For me at least. It's one of those things that you either love or hate. I love this, and there's only seven episodes. As Wayne and Garth would say, "Denied!"

It's absurdist. I was thinking about showing my Dad, but I don't think he'd get it. Nor would any of my friends beyond a certain few. I can't really push you to watch it. You have to click the link with some curiosity and an open mind. I don't know what it is, but a hot dog that goes "doo la la la la la la" can send me on a lollercoaster.

Lyrics

It's raining right now, which sucks. Weather has a way of factoring into my mood. If it's cloudy and dreary, I can't be all the way happy, whereas if it's really sunny outside, I feel alive and vibrant. I've written a lot of my best songs when it was sunny outside.

I have a song in the works for my first album on my tiny little label King Meerkat Records (named after an extremely old song of mine). It's called "All in my Head" for now, and it doesn't have lyrics yet. I always have a hard time writing lyrics because I don't know what to write about. I'm either forcing it too hard, or I'm not forcing it and the words are stupid anyways.

The chorus is easy.

"All in my head, it's all in my head/
All in my head, it's all in my head/
all in my head, it's all in my head, yeah."

And I'm happy with it. But it needs more. What's in my head exactly?

There are some songs that are really good and barely need any lyrics at all. Check out this song by the Stone Roses. There's a long fade-in, so if you can't hear anything, wait a little while.

"I don't have to sell my soul
he's already in me.

I wanna be adored."

That's the lyrics.

The music's so awesome that it barely needs any words at all. I'm not sure if the song I'm working on can afford that luxury, unfortunately. I just need to think it through some, I guess. Or not. Or something.

*sigh*

I'm doing laundry, and I realized that I'm out of fabric softener sheets because everyone in my apartment has been using my sheets. Damn.

Oh well, that's just the way it is.

Some things will never change.
